Meet my new best friend, Terry. Well, he doesn't know he's my best friend...yet. I keep trying to tell him but he runs away from me. Someday I will catch you, Terry! In my mouth! And I'll shake you! And you'll know how much I love you!

Back....for now...

What's up, groupies? I've been MIA for over a month but I have a good excuse. Mom needed me for extra cuddle time and walks. She needed me to "grow up a little" and "be there for her."

I took that to mean she wanted to rub my belly more often while I rolled around on the floor, occasionally trying to bite her hands for fun. I also took that to mean she wanted to chase me in the back yard daily. So I had to make a sacrifice to "be there" for my mom. You guys suffered. Will you ever forgive me? Think about it while you feast your eyes upon these gems....

I like to call it "Newfport"

Mom and Dad and me went to a new place this weekend and I learned that I truly am very very special in a big way. 

A few rare moments where I wasn't being smothered by compliments....

I was told someone put this bowl of water here....for me. 

It would have been rude not to take a drink....

We talked and all agree....Newfoundlands should be the new "Black Dog."

This was where I posted up so that people could come and touch me and ask Mom and Dad questions like, "What kind of dog is that?" "How much does he weigh?" "185 lbs, right?" (I wish) 

"Is that a Bull Mastiff?" (idiot.) "How much does it eat?" "Does it shed?" 

Mom and Dad ate lunch, which I kind of thought was rude because they were a little distracted and couldn't give my fans their undivided attention. 

Oooo! Ben and Jerry's frozen yogurt!!!!

A break in the shade with Dad. I let him close his eyes for a bit while I kept watch with Mom for new fans and groupies.

What you don't see in this picture was that I ran so fast to get in the water that I pulled Dad in...with his new shoes on. It's just water, Dad....relax.
